Phew, just finished another review for Adventuregamers.com. I always get nervous before writing a review -- will I do the game justice? More importantly, will I give readers enough info so that they can make an educated choice about getting the game? It can be hard with a niche like this because so many fans will get particular games regardless of how good or bad they are. And of course, being a fan of these games myself, it's sometimes difficult to see the bad in games put out by independent developers. I'm just so excited to be a part of something that so many people are passionate about.
Even though I get nervous at the beginning of each writing episode, once I actually start writing, I remember how wonderful it feels to put my thoughts down. Rereading my words as I edit my pieces, I relive particular moments in the game and it's so satisfying to play around with the words until I get the images just right. Yay for adventure games!
